I didn't find this loud at all, but maybe other folks got an earlier model than me. We have a growing collection of bSwish toys now and we are fond of them all. The bGee provides a lot of vibration for such a small and slender toy. Also, this vibrator is really nice for outside vibration too. The velvety softness this toy is lovely touch.
