Susie Bright has compiled three novellas of outstanding quality and depth in Three the Hard Way. Most notably, Greg Boyd’s "The Widow" is a poignant tale about the sexual liberation of a widowed woman. It’s sensuously and tastefully written in a truly unique style that befits such a unique story. Also included are Tsaurah Litsky’s "The Motion of the Ocean" and William Harrison’s "Shadow of a Man". The latter is set in South Africa, and combines a deeply intense affair an American photographer has with a general’s daughter, and the politics of the region. These three stories are all fine examples of erotica and it’s a great thing to see them all showcased in such a lovely way. 231pp.
